ADOBE ACROBAT READER - This will enable you to read PDF files which feature in many websites. AVG - Antivirus software to protect your computer FLASH - Over 98% of users have this plugin installed. Flash turns web pages into multimedia extravaganza, while shockwave is used for online games. INTERNET EXPLORER - (the world's most popular browser) has almost 90% market share and version 5.5 is the best yet.
OPERA - A lightweight rival to the previous two browsers. Fast, efficient and very small in filesize, but packed with lots of functionality. REAL ONE PLAYER - RealAudio is a standard for online music, enabling you to hear music from over 3,000 online radio stations. It can also handle video. WINAMP - This feature packed MP3 player includes a graphic equaliser, fancy visual effects and support for every conceivable kind of Internet music. WINZIP - compresses your files making them more portable to email and save on your system. ZONE ALARM - Protect your PC from viruses with this excellent free firewall. It ensures that no programs access the Internet from your PC without you knowing about it.
